About the Work
Inspired by Matthew 10:29–31, Obedience explores faith, surrender, and trusting God when His purpose cannot yet be understood. The sparrow symbolizes both vulnerability and divine attention—reflecting Christ’s reminder that not even the smallest creature falls outside the Father’s care.
Through layered abstraction and expressive texture, the work reflects the tension between fear and faith, control and surrender, and the belief that obedience ultimately requires trust.
