About the Work
Myles “Flash” Gordon merges sports culture with comic book mythology. Inspired by Myles Garrett’s nickname and the artist’s lifelong admiration for The Flash, the work uses bold yellows and explosive movement to convey speed, force, and heroic energy. Created to commemorate Garrett’s official NFL single-season sack record of 23 sacks during the 2025 season, the painting was begun when Garrett had already reached 20 sacks. To mark the historic achievement, the artist also released 25 signed and numbered limited edition prints.
